Through access control, CCTV monitoring, regular patrols, incident response, and visitor and parcel management, you will play an important role in protecting people and property. The ideal candidate is vigilant, approachable, and dedicated to providing both outstanding customer service and a secure living environment. What's in it for you? Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Supportive team environment where your safety and well-being are a top priority Employee recognition programs to reqard your hard work and dedication Responsibilities for Residential Security Guard Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors Manage access control Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Perform computer tasks Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Answer questions in person or by phone Qualifications for Residential Security Guard Authorized to work in Canada with Hold a valid BC Security License Minimum 6 months of security guard experience Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong report writing and technology skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Ability to stand and walk throughout shift Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness Proficient in basic phone & computer skills This could be more than a job! Requirements
