Monitor building alarms and secuirty notifications, investigate alerts, and escalate incidents to appropriate personnel. Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Control and monitor access credentials, keys, fobs, visitor passes, and other security related assets. Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Answer questions in person or by phone Qualifications for a Security Control Room Operator Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Alberta Security License Minimum 1 year control room/disptatch experience Previous security concierge experience is an asset Strong computer and typing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Experience with monitoring and operation of video and surveillance systems Problem Solving skills Exceptional customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills This could be more than a job!
