At Gateway Mechanical, we’re looking for Journeyman & Apprentice Refrigeration Technicians who know their stuff, don’t panic under pressure, and maybe even enjoy the challenge (just a little). It’s both — because doing one all the time gets boring. You’ll: * Jump between service calls and project installs * Fix what’s broken * Build what’s new * Figure things out when they don’t make sense (because they won’t always) One day you’re saving a grocery store’s product. No gimmicks — just recognition for doing solid work. ---------------------------------------- WHAT MAKES YOU “THAT TECH” You: * Don’t wait around to be told what to do * Can troubleshoot without spiraling * Show up on time (it’s not optional) * Communicate clearly — no guessing games * Actually care about safety (and your fingers) * Know when to ask for help — and when not to ---------------------------------------- YOU’LL NEED * ✅ Journeyman Cert (or indentured Apprentice) * ✅ Supermarket experience — big plus here * ✅ 2+ years experience * ✅ Ability to handle on-call rotation without disappearing * ✅ Valid Class 5 license + decent driving record Bonus points if you’ve got: * Gas ticket * Safety certs (First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS, etc.) * Fall Protection, AWP, H2S (you know the drill) ---------------------------------------- WHY GATEWAY? Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVACR systems while handling both service calls and project installations. Ensure all work is compliant, safe, and completed on time and within budget.

Requires a Journeyman Certification or indentured Apprentice status with at least 2 years of experience and a valid Class 5 driver's license. Experience with supermarket refrigeration and various safety certifications is highly preferred.
