Role (Overview of the Position): Manage a portfolio of corporate clients as their key contact, taking ownership of client onboarding and correspondence. Lead a team of senior preparers, organizing workflow and allocation of year-end letters and re-engagement initiatives as required. Review of year-end files (corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship) prepared by team in the Accounting department, including: Client service activities and special projects as they relate to the Accounting department; including exploring additional opportunities with existing clients to further growth. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems. Supporting team members with guidance on file completion and obstacles in the way of meeting output objectives. Participate in performance feedback for team members including semi-annual performance reviews. Qualifications/Skills & Experience: CPA designation or equivalent hands-on public practice experience in preparing and completing accounting, corporate tax, and personal tax files for small to mid-sized clients. File review experience in a public practice setting; Solid knowledge of corporation tax; Solid knowledge of personal tax; Solid knowledge of accounting & GAAP; Confidence in leading client meetings, dealing with client concerns and issue resolution. Strong communication and relationship management skills for client and team interaction. What you’ll do

Requirements
