What You'll Own on Site Full locate responsibilities on active HDD telecom bores from start to finish Operating SubSite locating equipment to track and guide drill heads in real time Working in direct, ongoing communication with Ditch Witch drill operators throughout each bore Identifying utility conflicts, flagging hazards, and making real-time course corrections Verifying bore depth, alignment, and path against project requirements Keeping accurate field records and supporting as-built documentation Helping maintain a site culture where safety is non-negotiable What We Expect Substantial hands-on experience using SubSite locating systems — not just familiarity, but proficiency A track record of working alongside Ditch Witch HDD equipment on live telecom or utility projects The ability to read ground conditions and make confident, informed locating decisions All certifications fully current and confirmed valid before your first shift — this is mandatory Clear communicator who works well under pressure and within a team What You Get in Return Consistent, long-term project work with above-average hours Competitive pay matched to your level of experience Company benefits package Performance Christmas bonus — paid to those who show up and deliver LOA and accommodations arranged for workers commuting from beyond 100 km Certificates Ground Disturbance II CSTS 2020 Valid class 5 license / clean drivers abstract Experienced locators are hard to find and we know it.
