Job summary

General Atomics Canada Corporation is look for a Project Administrator to join our growing team in the Ottawa office. With general direction, this position is responsible for the administration of operational aspects of ongoing projects. Exercising judgment within genera11y defined precedents and policies, participates in developing plans to ensure that activities achieve desired results, initiates project(s), and participates in development of project design and schedule to meet overall objectives. Performs administrative, scheduling and travel management for the GA Contractor Management Office in support of the Canada Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Program. Administer daily operational aspects of one or more ongoing projects; participates in project plan development, design and schedule. Integrate and analyze project plans to ensure milestones and delivery requirements are met; ensure that all the key parties are advised. Analyze data and situations and develop solutions with project managers, line managers and clients; influence and guide on actions to be taken. Develop appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records. Provide direction to support and less experienced professional staff. Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
