Description We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing and Trade Show Specialist to help us with our overall marketing efforts across General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS). This is a temporary position with an expected end date of June 2028. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach our target audience through various event channels. This role includes a wide range of activities from strategic to tactical, and requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, concepts, strategies, and tactics. The ideal candidate is an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. Key Job Elements: Assist in the planning and operation of GDLS-C Trade Shows Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute events Promoting events through various marketing channels such as social media, email, and direct mail Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, venues, and partners Tracking event key performance indicators and analyzing event performance Creating and distributing promotional materials for events Ensuring brand consistency in all event marketing efforts Conducting market research to identify event opportunities and trends Handling logistics, such as travel arrangements, venue setup, and equipment management Troubleshoot emerging problems and support resolution of issues arising at events Evaluating event outcomes based on key metrics and prepare applicable reports Travel to Domestic and International trade shows and other similar events as required Requirements: Bachelor's degree in project management, marketing, communications, or similar A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or customer-facing roles, with exposure to events, customer engagements, or trade shows preferred. Excellent financial management abilities Highly charismatic and engaging Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Must be a self-starter, work independently with minimum supervision Must demonstrate the characteristics of flexibility, dependability and reliability Ability to manage multiple activities under pressure and interact with functional groups successfully Strong verbal and written communication, including facilitating discussions, presentation and organizational skills Ability to travel Internationally and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport and/or VISA

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in project management, marketing, communications, or a similar field and 3–5 years of relevant business development, marketing, or customer-facing experience are required. Candidates should have strong financial, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities, be able to work independently under pressure, and be able to travel internationally with a valid or obtainable passport and/or visa.
