Description Job Description Key Job Elements Support a 3-shift operation Supervise skilled trades Organize jobs for shift start and ensure employees adhere to safety regulations Prepare daily reports and track progress including implementation of new technologies Ensure problems are properly documented, jobs are reviewed and area is clean before operating equipment Work within budgets and maintain accurate employee records Communicate with Production on breakdowns/status/equipment availability Maintain equipment uptime and follow-up on all requests Maintain a clean and tidy work area for group Troubleshoot mechanical problems on machinery and equipment Significant overtime and weekend work is involved Supervisory duties such as payroll/attendance Required Qualifications College Diploma and/or apprentice and license in Machine Repair or Electrician Minimum 5-7 years experience working in a unionized shop environment Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Excellent communication (written, oral and listening) and analytical skills Strong organizational/administrative skills, including being a self-starter Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space Ability to work steady Midnight shift and ability to works shiftwork as required Preferred Qualifications Skilled trades supervision experience Experience in MAXIMO 8 years shop floor work experience Working Environment Shop floor/shift/weekend work

Supervise skilled trades personnel on a midnight shift to ensure equipment uptime and adherence to safety regulations. Coordinate with production teams to manage breakdowns and maintain accurate employee and progress records.

Requires a college diploma or trade license in Machine Repair or Electrician with 5-7 years of experience in a unionized shop environment. Must be able to work midnight shifts, travel occasionally, and meet anthropometrical size restrictions for confined spaces.
