Description Specialist, Manufacturing Execution Production Engineering Key Job Elements: Maintain and Adjust the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to align and optimize our manufacturing processes for the shop floor end users Provide tailored and relevant end user training/ guidance on best practices as an MES subject matter expert Implement and collaborate on manufacturing process improvement opportunities by conducting Root Cause Corrective Active analysis of shop floor pain points As an MES SME, use the application to: Configure and Maintain Accurate User, Roles and Responsibilities Execute Change Processes on Future or Existing Work Orders Setup and Optimize Serial Collections Maintain and Interrogate Bills of Process and Work Orders Maintain Failure and Department List Groupings Enable Data Control Definitions for End User Checks and Workflows Gather feedback and validate new or changing MES use cases as needed Required Qualifications: University degree or College Diploma in IT, Manufacturing or other relevant discipline Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in Manufacturing Strong IT, Digital Technology and Organizational skills Ability to be self‐directed in your work Demonstrated analytical and decision making skills Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, especially related to communicating technical or complex material to a variety of audiences Demonstrated collaboration success Ability to travel if needed (~5% Cdn) and (~5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of PLM Manufacturing Processes Production experience and understanding of Industry 4.0 benchmarks Physical Demands Description: Usual mobility demands required are standing, walking, sitting, and stair climbing to access necessary areas within manufacturing or office settings. Role is on site and requires routine walks within the manufacturing areas. Equipment Utilized: This section describes the type of equipment an employee is required to use: Computer Phone Mobile device Personal Protective Equipment: Applicable when interacting with shop floor (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection)
