As part of your application, you must upload proof of enrolment and your most recent academic transcript. Job Description We're seeking a Mobile Domain System Engineering intern to join the team. This full-time role is based in Calgary, AB, Canada. This opportunity will be a combination of working remotely and onsite (minimum 2-days onsite / week). In this role, you will participate in designing new system capabilities requested by the customer, work closely with the customer, product teams and engineers from the Mobile Domain as well as other domains to ensure the proper design is captured and documented, and also support various SW and FW development teams in the overall product life cycle to ensure the implementation and testing is in accordance with the design. In this role you can expect to: Support automation of radios testing procedures. Provide system and product level design and support for the Mobile Domain within LCSS. Document system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases. Manage System Problem Reports (SPRs) and Observations by providing proper upfront analysis and input to support bug fixes as well as seeing the proper close out of each SPR. Interface with GDMS-C systems engineers, supporting product development teams and system integration teams as well as external subcontractors. Support internal, external customer and IPT (Integrated Project Team) meetings on an as-needed basis. Qualifications What You Need to Have to Succeed Student Mus be enrolled a in a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other applicable scientific discipline at a recognized university program. Programming experience is required. Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation. Self-motivated with a demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative. It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada. Additional Information Compensation The expected hourly rate for this position is $24.92 - $33.23. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
