Job Description This role will be working on the Land Command Support System (LCSS) which primarily supports the Canadian Army operations by providing the information services required to make effective and timely decision. The system is an interconnected network of digital communications and information systems by which the data needed to plan, direct and control tactical land operations is communicated, stored, processed, and displayed. The Tactical Systems Integration Lab Support Team execute integration and system testing before it is fielded to the customer. In this role, primary responsibilities may include: Test planning, definition, execution, reporting and supporting lab setup and configuration Integration activities such as new features and workaround solutions, you will also prepare and deliver customer-facing test proposals and plans for new work coming into the pipeline Engaging with customer representatives, vendors and other department staff during the development, planning, execution and keep status on its formal and informal test cycles reporting phases. Developing integration and test procedures, including configuration descriptions, execution and monitor expected outcomes in accordance with design documents Planning, building, configuring and validating testing operations by developing communications / system management plans and network configuration Performing investigations and identify debugging issues during testing and field exercises, Other duties will include supporting external test events, field trials and writing technical reports Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, or an applicable scientific discipline. Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred. It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada. Additional Information Compensation The expected hourly rate for this position is $24.92 - $33.23. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
