GenMec ACL Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Skilled Trades Assistant with residential and/or commercial siding experience to support our growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is looking to grow their career in the construction industry. What You'll Do Assist with the installation, repair, and replacement of various siding systems including vinyl, Hardie board, metal, and composite products. Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation. Install trims, flashings, soffits, fascia, and weather barriers. Safely operate hand and power tools. Assist carpenters, foremen, and other skilled trades as required. Perform general construction labour duties including material handling, site clean-up, and equipment maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company and client safety policies and procedures at all times. Complete other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Foreman. What We're Looking For Minimum 1–3 years of siding installation experience preferred. Experience working on commercial construction projects is considered an asset. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math. Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation considered an asset. Requirements

Requires 1-3 years of siding experience and the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license and safety certifications like Fall Protection are considered assets.
