In this client-facing, leadership role, you understand the importance of customer service and the foundation of ACT. You will become a product knowledge expert, knowing all about what we sell and how to support our customers. General responsibilities include: Shipping & Receiving * Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery. * Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks. * Pick orders for immediate pick-up. * Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork. * Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch. Customer Service * Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch/warehouse, or as they call. * Serve them immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage. * Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides. * Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner. Please Apply If This Sounds Like You: * Completed High School certificate a must. Post-secondary education an asset. * Forklift certification an asset. * Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate. * Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences. * High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes. * Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees. * Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
