We're currently looking for a Materials Testing (Laboratory) Technician to join our team based in Kelowna. Key Objectives for This Role: Perform in-lab soil, concrete and asphalt testing following standard procedures. Prepare accurate and concise reports using Microsoft Word and Excel Work closely with the company’s engineering staff, management team, clients, and contractors Work flexible hours as required Lift and carry equipment and samples weighing around 45-50 lbs as part of routine work The successful applicant will possess the following attributes: A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or another degree in a science-related field CCIL Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate Certification is preferred (but not required) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills A professional and proactive attitude when working with colleagues, clients, and contractors Why Join Geopacific Consultants Ltd.: Professional Growth: We are committed to supporting your career development through continuous learning opportunities and exposure to diverse projects.
