Regional Manager Gestion Zagora — Toronto, Ontario, Canada (On-site) Position Summary Gestion Zagora is a young and dynamic company specializing in property management. For over five years, the company has owned and managed a diverse portfolio of residential properties across multiple Canadian markets. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the operations and performance of our property portfolio in the Toronto area. The Regional Manager will play a key role in supervising teams, optimizing operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and driving the financial performance of the assigned properties. This position will work closely with senior management and the Property Management, Leasing, Maintenance, and Accounting teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential properties in the Toronto area. Ensure the operational and financial performance of assigned properties. Supervise, coach, and support Property Managers and on-site teams. Establish operational objectives and monitor key performance indicators. Conduct regular property visits to assess building condition, performance, and operational standards. Ensure Gestion Zagora's standards for service, maintenance, and property management are consistently maintained. Oversee tenant relationships and intervene in complex or escalated situations. Collaborate with the Leasing team to optimize occupancy rates and lease renewals. Oversee maintenance activities, repairs, and property improvement projects. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and external partners. Participate in the preparation and monitoring of property budgets. Analyze revenue, expenses, accounts receivable, and other financial performance indicators. Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reductions, and value creation. Oversee renovation and major maintenance projects. Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario laws and property management regulations. Prepare regular portfolio performance reports for senior management. Identify operational challenges and implement corrective action plans. Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of property management team members. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. Perform other related duties as required by management. Qualifications & Skills College or university degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in property management, ideally within a multi-property residential portfolio. Experience supervising teams and managing a real estate portfolio. Strong knowledge of property operations and residential property management in Ontario. Experience with budgeting and financial performance analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to handle complex situations. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage tenant-related situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software. Self-motivated, professional, proactive, and accountable. Excellent English proficiency; French is an asset. Valid driver's license and availability to travel regularly between properties.
