Requirements: Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (DZ or above in Ontario) with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR. Driving Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (or completion of an accredited truck driving school program). Equipment Operation: Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems. Safety Commitment: Ability to successfully satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive operational roles. Reliability: Strong attendance record and flexibility to support early morning start schedules and operational overtime when needed. Responsibilities: Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily and complete required trip logs and paperwork. Curbside Collection: Collect residential waste and recycling materials in strict accordance with route schedules and corporate safety protocols. System Operations: Skillfully operate hydraulic and compaction systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage. Reporting & Maintenance: Promptly report any mechanical write-ups, route hazards, or safety incidents to management. Service Quality: Maintain high route productivity, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Helpers and Terminal Supervisors to support smooth, efficient daily operations. Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Ontario DZ or higher commercial driver's license and have a clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR, plus at least one year of commercial driving experience or completion of an accredited truck driving school program. They must be able to safely operate heavy collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems, meet safety standards, and reliably support early starts and operational overtime.
