Job summary

Responsible for work on GFL job sites, receiving customer waste from industrial, commercial, and internal GFL locations at our receiving facility. Responsible for performing assigned duties on Customer and GFL sites. This physically strenuous position involves mobilization, demobilization, Industrial cleaning, tanker loading. Key Responsibilities:  Satisfy customer and GFL Location’s needs for service.  Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.  Responsible for daily pre-inspections.  Complete assigned daily Tasks as assigned by the Supervisor(s)/Operations Manager.  Daily driving GFL crew(s) to customers and GFL sites.  Perform check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.  Ensure assigned Duties are completed in a timely and safe manner.  Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities.  Required to climb up ladder on truck to check loads, hook up secure and monitor loading.  Required Confined space entry to clean tanks, pits and silos.  Required to wear all appropriate PPE, clean shaven if required to wear a respirator.  Requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds.  May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:  Valid G license  Completion of GFL online Training.  3-5 years driving experience.  Experience in industrial settings.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong customer focus.  Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.  Knowledge of electronic devices (i.e., tablets, ELD, Cell phones)  Knowledge of industry.
