Job summary

GFL Mississauga is looking for a Processing Facilities Technician to support our processing line of business! Key Responsibilities: Sample inbound/onsite material, conduct screening analysis, record results Ensure appropriate data entry is completed De-pack loose packs, categorize, strap and track outgoing material Interpret and compare results Operate a tank farm and associated pumps, valves, and couplings Blending and preparing product to prescribed recipe using pumps and mixers Maintain a high level of organization in a fluid environment Communicate and liaise with other departments Housekeeping to maintain a safe work area Respond to emergencies and help with the spill clean-up Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all applicable codes Maintain good working relationship with coworkers and customers Some overtime required Other duties as requested by Supervisor Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Open availability Monday - Friday (Required to work morning and afternoon shifts) Chemistry, Chemical Lab, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Technology, Environnmental Technician, or related field of study Must be comfortable working in a 100% outdoor environment (cold and heat) Must be clean shaven (to be able to wear full mask respirator) Must be comfortable working at heights (up to 10 feet) Strong organizational skills Keen attention to detail Exemplary communication skills #GFLTalent GFL Mississauga is looking for a Processing Facilities Technician to support our processing line of business!
