We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team to assist with vendor life cycle, onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, relationship building and contract renewals. This position can be based in most US-based office locations. Additional responsibilities include the following: * Work closely with the projects team to understand details of strategic procurement requirements including sourcing, pre-qualification, etc. * Initiate and renew contracts including framework agreements, service line agreements, etc., negotiate pricing, terms, and provisions * Engage, educate, and influence indirect and direct vendors to align to GHDs Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) commitments * Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners * Measure and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements, contracts, conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews and provide feedback to team on gaps, and business opportunities * Build industry, vendor, category, business unit, etc. specific reports, analyze data, and report on gaps and opportunities to the team including vendor segmentation * Assist in growing GHD’s supplier diversity program * Perform all responsibilities within GHD Procurement Guidelines and ensure relevant processes and procedures are followed Our Hybrid Work Model: Be part of the dynamic culture! What you’ll bring to the team: * 2+ years of strategic procurement experience including data analysis, sourcing, vendor management, and contract management * High proficiency with data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel (intermediate to expert) * Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills * Excellent English verbal and written communication skills * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Proactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperation * Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset * Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset * Degree or certification in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferred The salary range for this position is $57,000-$95,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At GHD, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
