Job Title Class 1 E Driver (Local) About This Role: Giant Tiger is looking for dynamic individuals to join one of Canada’s largest iconic retail brands as an Class 1E Driver! this is a local route for Dartmouth/Halifax Nova Scotia. Reporting to the Transportation Manager and Supervisor and directed by the Tiger Trucking Dispatch, we are looking for an energetic Class 1E who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys challenges, and is team player able to deliver merchandise to our Giant Tiger Stores. What You'll Bring: • Must hold a valid Class 1E license; Clean Abstract • Must have two years’ Class 1E driving experience Very strong knowledge of Transportation functions; Geographically knowledgeable (Ontario & Quebec & Maritimes); an asset Excellent communication skills and computer literacy Strong problem-solving skills; Excellent attitude and a willingness to learn; Self-motivated with good people skills When You'll Work: • Various schedules available that fit your lifestyle, varying between 50 to 55 hours per week with voluntary overtime up to 70 hours per week How You'll Apply: Please submit the following documents with your application. Candidates must hold a valid Class 1E license and possess at least two years of professional driving experience. A clean driver's abstract and strong geographical knowledge of the Maritimes, Ontario, and Quebec are required.
