This position requires proficiency in reviewing blueprints, calculating labor and material costs, and communicating with vendors and clients. Responsibilities Review project documents, including blueprints and specifications, to develop accurate project estimates. Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs, factoring in all necessary components. Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and other team members to gather information and refine estimates. Perform cost comparisons and recommend strategies to improve cost-effectiveness. Track project progress, monitor budgets, and make adjustments as needed. Prepare and submit bid proposals by deadlines. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather additional information on project scope. Qualifications Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating or similar role in construction. Skills: Proficiency in estimating software Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical projects. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.

Requirements
Candidates should have a high school diploma, with a preference for an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating or a similar role is required.
