Job details
Interim Director, Total Rewards (12-Month Contract) Hybrid (downtown 2-3 days) We are partnering with a dynamic, global organization to identify an accomplished HR leader for a highly visible 12-month interim mandate. This is an opportunity to lead a broad and talented team across Total Rewards, Payroll, Benefits, People Operations, People Analytics, Engagement, and People Systems, while playing a critical role in a significant organizational integration and transformation. The successful candidate will bring the strategic perspective to advise senior leaders, the technical depth to navigate complex rewards and systems matters, and the execution focus to move multiple interconnected workstreams forward. The Mandate Lead the delivery of compensation, benefits, payroll, people analytics, engagement, and people systems. Advise senior leaders on complex compensation matters, balancing business needs, internal equity, and governance. Transform workforce and engagement data into executive-level insights and practical recommendations. Oversee people systems, data governance, integrations, testing, implementation, and business readiness. Lead major integration and transformation workstreams, including compensation harmonization, benefits transition, payroll migration, job grading, systems integration, and employee communications. Build alignment across HR, Finance, IT, Legal, external partners, and global functional teams. Lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing team through a period of meaningful change. The Ideal Candidate You bring 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant people leadership experience and strong expertise across Total Rewards, HR technology, and people data and analytics. You have successfully led complex integrations, transformation initiatives, or large cross-functional HR programs within a global or multinational environment. Experience with platforms such as Dayforce and SAP would be valuable. Most importantly, you know how to translate strategy, global frameworks, and complex requirements into clear decisions and disciplined execution. You are comfortable moving between executive conversations and operational detail, bringing sound judgment, collaboration, and momentum to both. If you are an experienced HR leader who enjoys building clarity, connecting teams, and delivering through complexity, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
