Join the team at Glen Arbour Golf Course as a Bunkers (Canteen) Attendant and help create exceptional experiences for our members and guests throughout the remainder of golf season. Located on the course, The Bunkers Canteen serves golfers throughout the day with food, beverages, and friendly service. We're looking for energetic, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people, take pride in their work, and thrive in a team-focused environment. Candidates must be available to work weekday mornings and afternoons. How You'll Spend Your Day: Delivering friendly, personalized service to members and guests visiting the Bunkers canteen. Serving food and beverages while accommodating special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions. Maintaining knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and seasonal features. Processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately through the POS system. Assisting with inventory management, stocking, and replenishment of products and supplies. Verifying identification and serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with Nova Scotia regulations. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming canteen environment. Following all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety procedures. Completing opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned. Supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture. What Will Help You Thrive One to two years of customer service experience. Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain. Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
