In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced land surveyors, technicians, and drafting professionals to produce high-quality survey drawings, primarily supporting projects in our Land Development sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about precision, technology, and continuous improvement What You’ll Do * Prepare detailed and accurate legal survey plans * Support the efficient and timely production of survey drawings * Use CAD software to develop high-quality technical drawings under the guidance of the Project Manager * Process and interpret GPS and total station data, field notes, and sketches to create precise plans * Collaborate closely with team members to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards * Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues What You Bring * Diploma in CAD, Geomatics, or a related field from an accredited institution * 3–5+ years of experience in a drafting or CAD-focused role * Experience with survey plans * Solid understanding of survey principles and plan requirements * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required); experience with CAD/Mapping/GIS software is an asset * Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and within a high-performing team Assets (Nice to Have) * Experience in the survey and geomatics industry within Western Canada * Familiarity with MicroSurvey and Trimble Business Centre * Previous CAD/field survey experience in British Columbia * Experience with legal surveys or cadastral survey drafting would be considered a strong asset Build Something Bigger At Global Raymac, your work directly contributes to projects that power communities and drive progress.
