Global Talent Partners is working with a well-established, privately owned small animal practice in Southwestern Ontario that is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join its long-standing and collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is best suited to a confident GP veterinarian with solid clinical experience who is comfortable managing a varied caseload independently within a well-supported but fast-paced general practice environment. The team includes multiple experienced veterinarians supported by a skilled group of RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client care staff, creating a stable and well-coordinated clinical environment. About the Practice * Long-established, privately owned small animal practice with 30+ years in the community * Team of multiple veterinarians supported by experienced RVTs and support staff * Strong focus on continuity of care and long-term client relationships * Fully equipped general practice offering: * Digital radiography * Digital dental radiography * Ultrasound diagnostics * In-house laboratory testing * Soft tissue surgery * Dental procedures * Preventive care, medical, surgical, and diagnostic services for companion animals * Structured workflow with modern practice systems supporting clinical efficiency The practice operates during extended weekday hours, including one evening clinic, with no overnight emergency requirement for clinicians. The Role * Provide high-quality general small animal veterinary care * Independently manage medical and surgical cases within GP scope * Deliver compassionate, client-focused care * Work collaboratively with a stable and experienced clinical team * Contribute to maintaining a positive, respectful practice culture Requirements * DVM degree with eligibility for licensure in Ontario * Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred * Confident working independently in general practice * Competent in routine soft tissue surgery and general medicine * Strong communication and client relationship skills * Team-oriented, professional approach Schedule * Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm * Thursday: 1:00pm - 8:00pm * No weekend work * No after-hours or on-call duties Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary around $130,000+ depending on experience * Continuing education allowance * Paid professional dues and memberships * Structured, supportive working environment * Strong emphasis on work-life balance * Flexible approach to scheduling where appropriate Location - Southwestern Ontario Located in a well-connected and family-friendly community, the area offers affordable living, access to larger urban centres within driving distance, and a strong sense of local community.
