POSITION: You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team in the role of Jr. Process Designer (/Engineer if you hold a P.Eng.). You will develop and deliver conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design packages through to CQV for GMP-compliant integrated process equipment and unit operations used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drug substances and products. SUMMARY: Working under the guidance of a senior engineer you will be responsible for: Design Basis Development Process Alternatives Evaluations User Requirement Specifications (URS) Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Process Integration of Unit Operations Equipment Plot Plans and Layout Drawings Equipment Sizing and Specification Commissioning & Qualification Protocol Development and Execution SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Self-directed, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal oversight. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering LOCATION: The primary work location will be in our main Oakville, ON office. However, a significant aspect of the role will involve intermittent international travel, including extended periods (up to 50%) spent at equipment vendors for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and at the client's site for Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities. **APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Please attach a single merged PDF and include both your resume and your unofficial transcript.
