Go Auto is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support the financial reporting requirements of our growing, multi-entity organization. You will prepare financial statements, lender and executive reporting packages, consolidations and financial-result commentary while working closely with senior finance leaders, operational Controllers, external auditors and lending partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst or public-accounting Senior Accountant who wants broader corporate ownership and exposure. Why this role stands out Own recurring monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables Work directly with Go Auto’s financial-reporting leadership Gain exposure to complex consolidations and multiple business entities Support acquisitions and post-acquisition integration Translate financial results into meaningful executive commentary Help improve reporting processes, controls and policies What you’ll do Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements accurately and on schedule Complete lender reporting and executive reporting packages Prepare consolidation working papers, including elimination entries and foreign-currency translations Produce cash-flow, KPI, variance and MD&A analysis Support operational Controllers and the Executive team with financial information Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits Prepare audit-ready packages for mergers and acquisitions Assist with post-acquisition accounting integration Maintain compliance with IFRS, ASPE and internal reporting requirements Review and improve financial-reporting policies, controls and processes Assist with treasury activities and CRA information requests What you bring A post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline At least three to four years of progressive financial-reporting or public-accounting experience Hands-on experience preparing financial statements and supporting working papers Strong understanding of audit requirements and reporting deadlines Advanced Microsoft Excel and reconciliation skills Clear written and verbal communication Ability to organize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment, accountability and strict confidentiality Assets CPA designation or active progress toward completion IFRS and ASPE experience CaseWare experience Multi-entity consolidations Lender or executive reporting MD&A, KPI, cash-flow and variance analysis Corporate tax, treasury or acquisition experience Compensation and schedule Competitive compensation package Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Fully onsite at Go Auto Corporate – Mayfield in Edmonton Some overtime may be required during reporting and audit deadlines Join Go Auto If you are a strong technical accountant who wants greater ownership, business exposure and an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization, we would like to hear from you.
