Job Description Go Beyond Academy is a well-rounded education centre located in Richmond Hill. We offer academic, piano, and art programs for students from elementary school through high school. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional French Teacher to join our team beginning in October 2026. This is an ongoing part-time position with teaching opportunities primarily during weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching French to students from Grades 1–12, including students in our after-school and tutoring programs. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and structured French lessons appropriate to students’ grade levels and abilities. Support students in developing speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills. Adapt teaching methods and lesson pacing based on individual student needs and learning styles. Help students strengthen their school performance and confidence in French. Prepare appropriate lesson materials, practice exercises, and homework when required. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive, organized, and respectful learning environment. Communicate professionally with parents and the Go Beyond Academy team regarding student progress. Qualifications Post-secondary education in French, Education, Languages, Humanities, or a related field is preferred. Ontario Certified Teachers, teacher candidates, current university students, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous French teaching, tutoring, classroom, or youth education experience is preferred. Strong written and spoken French skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the Go Beyond Academy team. Reliable, organized, patient, and passionate about working with children and adolescents. Work Schedule This is an ongoing part-time position beginning in October 2026. Typical teaching hours include: Weekday afternoons and evenings Saturday and Sunday Additional hours may become available depending on student enrollment and scheduling Applicants who can commit consistently throughout the 2026–2027 academic school year will be given preference.
