Job summary
Transtex develops and manufactures leading-edge aerodynamic solutions that help semi-trailer fleets significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Based in Montreal and operating across North America, we have been driving more sustainable transportation for over twenty years. \n What You'll Do Design and engineer practical mechanical and electromechanical solutions with manufacturability and end-user satisfaction and safety in mind. Plan, execute, and document the design, build, testing, and prototyping of new and derivative products. Work directly and successfully with a team, internal and external customers, and suppliers. What We're Looking For A university degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, combined with relevant experience in projects demanding mechanical design expertise. 5 to 10 years of experience in the design and engineering of multi-disciplinary physical products. Proven ability to apply mechanical and manufacturing engineering fundamentals to successfully solve design challenges. Proficient with computer aided design and engineering tools (e.g., SolidWorks, FEA, Excel, Jira). The ability to successfully communicate ideas, visually, verbally, and in writing. Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R and root cause analysis methods.
