We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Fulfillment in Calgary, Alberta, who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Role Details: Rate: $23-24 per hour Schedule: Flexible (Can be Mon-Fri | Tues-Sat | Sun-Thurs | Mornings and Evenings available) Address: 4750 43 St SE, Calgary, AB T2B 3N3 Key Responsibilities: * Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates; * Train new employees on company standards and procedures; * Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity; * Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse; * Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating; * Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership, * Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies; * Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively; * Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback; * Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations; * Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency; * Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment; * Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods; * Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues; * Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners. Qualifications: * Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position; * Strong leadership and team management skills; * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; * Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite; * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs); * Prolonged periods of standing and walking; * Have a valid forklift license (Considered an asset not a requirement) * Possess valid documentation to authorize you to work in Canada.
