Job summary
Fleet Administrator Golderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial. Key Information: * Position located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB * Hours: Based on a 40 hour week, Monday-Friday. * Must be willing to work overtime when required. * Salary is dependent on experience. * Health benefits, RRSP, pension plan and vacation offered. Job Description: * A strong understanding of light and heavy equipment, such as fleet vehicles, dozers, excavators, loaders, rock trucks, graders, packers, etc. is an asset. * Focus will be on billing/invoicing the equipment for our Silverado Shop. * Ensures full compliance with the company's Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies. * Responding to project requests, this position requires a high level of professionalism and interpersonal interaction. * Processing equipment rentals, issuing PO's, and processing vehicle rentals. * Use of spreadsheets, accounting systems, and Microsoft office. * Collect and organize invoices, documentation, and equipment photos from vendors, drivers, and accounts payable. * Setting up accounts with vendors to support sites. * Working with rental companies once units are returned, issuing WO's to the appropriate sites. * Packaging together major repairs for site chargebacks (primarily for billing). * Job and equipment planning within the scope of existing fleet and rental inventory. * Ensuring that client receives equipment and tracks through various software and telematics. * Interest in construction equipment and fleet operations considered an asset. * May perform other administrative duties as required. * Ability to handle conflict and determine solutions while maintaining a cohesive team environment. * Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced construction environment while maintaining clarity, focus and calm. Experience and Certification Requirements: * Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills. * Strong forecasting skills. * Must have experience working with spreadsheets. * Knowledge of accounting systems and equipment tracking software is considered an asset. * Experience working with heavy equipment rentals or construction fleet operations is considered an asset. * Strong spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to foster relationships. * Adaptability to accommodate job scope modifications. * Safety conscious and aware of the importance of safety at an organizational level. * Strong computer and systems skills. (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Must have a valid driver's license. * A reliable means of transportation is required. * Team player and excellent people skills. * Proficient English language skills required.
