Lead one of Alberta’s unique mountain golf experiences. Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead our golf course maintenance operation. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is a growing, financially healthy, non-profit organization committed to continual investment in the golf course, our facilities and our people. Following a recent course and clubhouse redevelopment, the redevelopment of Hole 17 begins this fall, with additional course improvements planned for the future. Reporting to the General Manager, the Golf Course Superintendent leads the team responsible for the maintenance, conditioning and presentation of the golf course and practice facilities. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for great golf courses and takes pride in producing exceptional playing conditions. We are recruiting for the 2027 golf season, with flexibility for an earlier start for the right candidate. The successful candidate will bring: Experience as a Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or in a comparable senior turf management role. Strong agronomic and irrigation knowledge. Proven leadership and team-building skills. Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills. Experience managing budgets and resources. An appreciation for structure, accountability and high standards. An interest in innovation, technology and continuous improvement. Experience with golf course renovation or construction is considered an asset. Turfgrass education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to obtain Alberta pesticide certification.

Requirements
Requires experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with strong agronomic and irrigation knowledge. Candidates should have turfgrass education or equivalent experience and the ability to obtain Alberta pesticide certification.
