Audio-Visual Technician GOSAVI Meeting Solutions Inc. specializes in designing and delivering modern enterprise communication environments. We provide expert consultation, installation, and support for video conferencing, audio-visual systems, unified communications, and acoustic solutions. The GOSAVI Audio-Visual Technician (AV Tech) is responsible for supporting all technical pre -and post-sales activities. Responsibilities of the AV Tech includes, but is not limited to the following: Key Responsibilities Perform on-site surveys and follow all site access and safety requirements Pre-stage and test equipment at the GOSAVI warehouse following internal procedures Install, configure, test, and commission AV systems and maintain clean, professional cable management Accurately review and apply technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts during installation and service work Work in conjunction with the GOSAVI team to design solutions, and in maintaining up-to-date key company databases (CRM, Projects, Tickets, Archiving) Respond to and resolve customer support tickets in a timely and professional manner Support sales calls and solution design when required Onboarding clients to GOSAVI technical processes Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and escalate risks early Stay current with AV technologies, manufacturer platforms, and industry certifications Identify and communicate emerging trends, products, and customer needs Vehicle Requirements Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment Vehicle must pass safety inspection and be kept clean and professional Vehicle should not showcase any inappropriate signs/stickers/decals which customers and coworkers may find offensive Qualifications & Skills Training or certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Poly, Logitech, Shure, Sennheiser, Yealink, or similar Experience with AV system integration in commercial environments, including retrofit and/or new construction Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn advanced AV systems and technologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail What We Offer Competitive compensation package Employer-paid health and dental benefits Paid vacations, flex days and statutory holidays Mileage and expense reimbursement Supportive and collaborative team environment Career growth and development opportunities Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion
