What you will do: We are seeking an AI Integration and Automation Specialist to design, configure, integrate, and operationalize solutions across enterprise systems. This role combines AI integration, automation, system integration, cloud technologies, and technical implementation to ensure AI capabilities are successfully deployed, integrated, tested, monitored, and continuously improved. AI Integration and Automation Specialist responsibilities include: Design, configure, integrate, and implement AI-enabled solutions that address business and operational needs. Build and maintain integrations between AI services, enterprise applications, data sources, and digital platforms. Develop and implement automated workflows using enterprise automation, orchestration, and integration technologies. Configure and support AI services, APIs, connectors, and enterprise integrations. Implement AI capabilities including knowledge retrieval, document processing, conversational AI, and emerging AI approaches where appropriate. Troubleshoot, optimize, and support AI integrations, automated workflows, and connected enterprise systems. Participate in technical solution design and recommend implementation approaches that align with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards. Collaborate with architects, developers, UX specialists, business analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Support solution testing, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Produce technical documentation for integrations, configurations, workflows, APIs, and operational procedures. Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, accessibility, governance, and Responsible AI requirements. Technical Environment: The successful candidate will work with a variety of enterprise technologies that may include: Enterprise AI and generative AI platforms Cloud computing platforms and AI services Workflow automation and orchestration technologies Enterprise applications, APIs, and integration technologies Structured and unstructured data sources Knowledge retrieval, search, and document intelligence technologies Low-code/no-code development platforms Scripting, configuration, and automation tools Identity, authentication, and security services Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following: Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills): A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following: Implementing or integrating enterprise applications, cloud services, APIs, or automation solutions. Integrating systems using REST APIs, web services, or enterprise integration technologies. Scripting, configuration, or low-code/no-code development platforms. Software implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support practices, including technical documentation This experience must also include at least two (2) years in the following: Designing and configuring AI-enabled solutions, Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation platforms, or comparable AI technologies. Working with structured and unstructured data, including data ingestion, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, document processing, or knowledge management solutions for AI systems. Nice to have (Asset qualifications): Preference may be given to candidates that possess one or more of the following asset qualifications: Experience implementing solutions using Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable enterprise cloud platforms. Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, document intelligence, knowledge retrieval, or agentic AI solutions. Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications using APIs, SDKs, or enterprise integration technologies. Experience developing workflow automation using Power Automate, Logic Apps, or comparable automation platforms. Experience working with authentication protocols, API security, identity management, or enterprise security practices. Experience working in Agile or iterative software delivery environments. Experience supporting AI-enabled solutions within security, privacy, governance, accessibility, or Responsible AI frameworks. Experience in government or other large enterprise environments. Requirements
