The Opportunity Our Program Support Clerks (PSC) are the primary frontline points of contact for YHC tenants, applicants and the general public. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role is pivotal to ensuring positive, supportive client experiences. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries on the phone, via email and in person, providing information on a variety of YHC programs, processing rent and other payments and working with fellow employees to provide the best client service possible. The PSC also provides support to various program areas within the Corporation. Completion of coursework in office administration, business administration or a related field. Experience providing client-centered service and administrative support in a busy environment. Experience verifying the accuracy, completeness and validity of documents. Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash. Experience maintaining physical and electronic filing systems, handling database entries and managing digital records. Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered. Desired Knowledge, Skills And Suitability Candidates should have and may be assessed on: Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to deliver accurate program information to vulnerable populations or individuals under significant stress. Skill in using trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches to calmly manage challenging behaviours or emotionally charged scenarios. Strong organizational ability to navigate constant interruptions, shifting operational priorities and critical administrative deadlines. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while seamlessly collaborating with a broader multidisciplinary team. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Conditions of Employment Valid RCMP security clearance. Eligibility List 12 months
