Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Account Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with assigned customers, serving as a trusted partner for their supply and solutions needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consultative support to help customers optimize product selection and inventory management. The Account Manager collaborates with internal teams to provide accurate pricing, product information, and technical support, while ensuring a high-quality customer experience across digital and in-person interactions. This role also involves monitoring account performance, preparing reports, and proactively addressing customer issues to drive retention and long-term satisfaction. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in account management, customer relationship building, and consultative selling to business customers. Experience with sales planning, pipeline management, and identifying opportunities for account growth and cross-selling. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels. Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and data analysis to manage accounts, track performance, and support decision-making. Knowledge of industrial products, safety, material handling, or related categories is an asset. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively. Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the Edmonton area for customer meetings as needed.
