Compensation: The base salary for this role ranges between $61,600 - $84,700, with eligibility for an incentive target of $1,800.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Position Details The customer program specialist role focuses on enabling day to day sales growth by streamlining operational processes and removing barriers that impact seamless customer transactions. This role supports the effective execution and optimization of customer programs, helping deliver consistent value, efficiency, and strong customer experience. You Will Support the setup, maintenance, and day‑to‑day administration of customer programs Assist with account creation, user maintenance, and payment setup in internal systems Help ensure customer programs transact accurately across systems and platforms Provide operational support for customer site implementations, installations, and program updates Complete routine operational activities that reduce administrative workload for Sales teams Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Support teams on program‑related tasks Track and assist with resolution of common customer issues, escalating as needed Monitor back-orders, discontinued items, and supply interruptions impacting customer programs Support item setup, part number creation, and updates required for program execution Assist customers with adoption and use of Grainger tools, systems, and programs You Have High School Diploma/GED required 5+ years Background in customer service, operational experience, inside sales experience 2+ years of experience in functions listed above required good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills demonstrated technical aptitude Rewards and Benefits:Our programs provide choice and flexibility to meet your individual needs.
