[http://www.grainger.com] Compensation: This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $24.65/hour with eligibility for a afternoon shift premium of $1.50/hr where applicable (DC roles only), and eligibility for an incentive target of $$1,200.00, which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. Position Summary: We’re hiring warehouse associates across multiple shifts with full-time positions available! You’ll report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other team members. Job Responsibilities (You Will): * Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting, labeling, putaway, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products using industrial machines. * Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping. * Resolve exceptions in order fulfillment due to stock discrepancies, order processing errors, damaged products, carrier changes, etc. * Follow lock out and tag out procedures for powered industrial equipment. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements. * Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements. * Perform other tasks as directed by leadership, including all functions of a DCA II. Education/Experience (You Have): * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced and physically active job. * Experience with industrial machines, like order picker, forklift, pallet jack, etc. * Ability to speak and understand written and spoken English. * Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations. * You’ll need to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heights. * Pass a pre-employment background check.
