The primary purpose of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation is to enhance the quality of health care in our community by raising money for the priority and specialized needs of our Regional Secondary Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. The Foundation plays a critical role in funding essential specialized equipment, major projects, patient care programs and education. Due to our continuous challenging health care climate, the Foundation makes every effort to help our hospital meet the growing needs of its community as well as the needs of the Northwestern Alberta region that it serves. Our Hospital also serves numerous residents from Eastern British Columbia and the Territories. The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and provides a vital link to the thousands of individuals and organizations in our community and region that choose to offer their support to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. We are a Registered Canadian Charitable Organization. Donors who invest in our Hospital Foundation provide many benefits to patients. In many cases, there are no other sources of funding for these very worthwhile patient care programs and to purchase much needed equipment. As an organization entrusted with the stewardship of donor contributions, we strive to match the wishes of our donors with the priority needs of our Hospital.

The Development Officer is responsible for planning and executing annual campaigns and major gift strategies to advance the hospital foundation's mission. This includes building donor pipelines, managing event logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
