Grandview Medical Centre is seeking a positive, reliable, and professional individual to join our team as a contract full-time Medical Office Assistant (37.5 hours per week, contract position). As a front-line representative of the clinic, the successful candidate will consistently demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and compassion in all interactions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of patients, communication, and information within the clinic, supporting both patients and the interdisciplinary care team. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently Schedule and coordinate appointments for physicians and allied health professionals Relay physician messages accurately to patients by phone Support patient flow and front desk operations Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members Qualifications Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant Certificate Program (preferred) Previous administrative or reception experience in a healthcare setting (asset) Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred) Experience with Oscar EMR (asset) Strong computer skills Core Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional and courteous telephone manner Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy Strong listening and problem-solving skills Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy Commitment to confidentiality and exceptional patient service Additional Requirements Proof of two-dose COVID-19 vaccination Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check

Requirements
