Job Summary: The Financial Services Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruiting lifecycle for experienced professionals supporting financial services consulting engagements. The position works closely with senior recruiting management, Account Directors, Client Service, HR, and Operations to identify, source, interview, evaluate, and engage highly qualified professionals for client assignments. This is a specialized recruiting position within a global financial services consulting firm headquartered in the United States, with entities in Canada, India, and the United Kingdom. The role requires a strong understanding of banking and financial services, including the ability to evaluate candidates with 5–7+ years of experience across financial services, investment management, capital markets, wealth management, payments, risk, compliance, operations, data, and technology. Key Responsibilities: Source and recruit experienced financial services professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, passive candidate development, and other targeted recruiting methods. Conduct detailed recruiter interviews to evaluate candidates’ financial services experience, project history, technical capabilities, business knowledge, communication skills, and consulting experience. Recruit for specialized positions supporting banking, investment management, asset management, capital markets, wealth management, payments, risk, compliance, operations, data, and financial technology. Evaluate candidates beyond resume keywords and job titles to determine the depth and relevance of their financial services experience. Develop and maintain pipelines of experienced financial services consultants, generally with 5–7+ years of professional experience. Partner with Account Directors and Client Service teams to understand complex client requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies. Present qualified candidates and provide clear assessments of their experience and suitability for specific client requirements. Build and maintain long-term relationships with experienced financial services professionals. Support recruiting requirements across the company’s U.S., Canadian, Indian, and UK entities. Understand the relationship between candidate location, employing entity, client location, engagement structure, and applicable employment requirements. Maintain working knowledge of the company’s multi-currency environment, including USD, CAD, INR, and GBP, and ensure candidate compensation and engagement information is accurately maintained by entity and jurisdiction. Ensure recruiting activities and candidate documentation comply with applicable employment, privacy, work authorization, onboarding, and company requirements. Understand client-specific compliance, background screening, confidentiality, security, and eligibility requirements applicable to financial services consultants. Maintain accurate candidate records, interview documentation, recruiting activity, and status information within the ATS/CRM. Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information and escalate sensitive or compliance-related matters appropriately. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Financial Services, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience within banking, financial services, investment management, asset management, capital markets, wealth management, payments, or financial services consulting, recruiting mid-to-senior level professionals (ie., with 5-7 years financial services experience) Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using Bullhorn recruiting software in a professional recruiting, consulting, or staffing environment, including candidate management, pipeline tracking, candidate submissions, activity tracking, interview documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate recruiting records. Proficiency with ATS/CRM and recruiting systems, including LinkedIn Recruiter. Experience supporting recruiting across multiple countries or jurisdictions, including knowledge ofmulti-entity and multi-currency recruiting environments, including USD, CAD, INR, and GBP. Strong knowledge of financial services recruiting and the ability to understand banking and financial services organizations, business functions, products, platforms, and terminology. Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, assessment, and relationship-management skills. Ability to evaluate experienced financial services professionals and distinguish relevant industry experience from general staffing or technology experience. Knowledge of employment, recruiting, privacy, work authorization, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across multiple countries and time zones. High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
