The Role Join us in our VAT team and become an instrumental force in shaping our clients' financial success. Your role will encompass not only navigating client through the nuances of VAT Compliance with a view to also providing strategic advice across various VAT facets. This is your chance to shine and lead in a dynamic environment. Managing and delivering high-quality VAT advisory services to clients, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their VAT queries. Providing strategic VAT advice on complex issues, including cross-border planning, VAT planning, and VAT risk management. Providing technical VAT support to senior management and partners on complex VAT issues Acting as a key contact and primary point of contact for clients, building, maintaining, and managing strong client relationships. Along with the Partners, helping to lead the VAT advisory team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality client services. Reviewing, supervising, developing, and mentoring junior members of the VAT team, supporting their career growth. Overseeing financial performance and driving business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities to cross-sell VAT services. Staying updated on developments in VAT legislation and VAT law, identifying potential opportunities or risks for clients, and providing internal training on relevant developments. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent with significant VAT advisory experience within a professional services firm Expertise in UK VAT legislation, including cross-border and sector-specific issues Proven track record in managing VAT advisory projects for large corporates and SMEs Proven track record of delivering VAT services to clients, including managing a portfolio of clients Experience working with large corporate clients, SMEs, or within specialist industries (e.g., financial services, real estate) Strong client relationship management and business development experience Demonstrated leadership and team management skills High level of IT literacy, including Excel, Word, and VAT reporting software Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Your Career with Gravita When you join Gravita, we’ll support you on your own growth journey.
