Canada - AB - Exshaw Industrial Welder $55.60 / Hour Exshaw, AB Graymont is one of the largest lime and limestone producers in North America. The Exshaw Plant is a well-established operation in the Bow Valley with long-term commitments for community and environmental stewardship. Graymont is looking for a Full Time, Permanent Industrial Welder Position at our Exshaw Plant located 15 minutes East of Canmore on Highway 1A. Responsibilities Comply with and be a leader in all safety rules and standard safety practices Conducting inspections and repairs of industrial equipment. Work in various environments (inside and outside) Graymont is a 24x7 operation with starting shift expectations: Monday to Friday Overtime Pay as per the Union Agreement and respond (call-out) to all emergencies. Rebuilding pumps, speed reducers, belt conveyors, and other types of equipment. Creating work orders, advancing status, locating and issuing parts and providing a detailed description of the tasks accomplished in the work order. Executing layout, fabrication and implementation of new equipment installations. Cutting, brazing, and welding mild steel, stainless steel, brass, and aluminum. Qualifications Journeyman Welder Red Seal Certification (Full or Partial qualification accepted) Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience. Minimum 18 years of age Class 5 Valid Driver’s License¬¬ with Clean Abstract Minimum Grade 12 Education Mechanical experience is an asset; candidates must also successfully pass an aptitude test Experience with welding and fabrication is essential, along with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team Physically fit and ability to carry 50lbs Self-motivated, goal oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy Proven track record of developing and maintaining a safe work culture. Preferred Skills Trades tickets partial or full, or experience from oil rigs, welding, mechanics, mill rights and blasters. Extensive experience or equivalent training in repair of all types of industrial equipment, i.e., screw and belt conveyors, bucket elevators, water and chemical pumps, gearboxes and vibratory feeders Experience working in industrial environments All new hires are required to submit and pass drug and alcohol testing to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all Graymont employees. Requirements

Requires a Journeyman Welder Red Seal certification (full or partial), at least three years of industrial experience, Grade 12 education, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract. Candidates must be at least 18, physically able to carry 50 pounds, have welding and fabrication experience, and pass aptitude and drug and alcohol tests.
