Great Blue Resorts owns and operates 10 private resort lakefront properties located throughout Ontario’s cottage country. These properties offer outright ownership of beautiful pre-manufactured seasonal recreational cottages. Golf Maintenance Crew Role Overview The Golf Course Maintenance Crew role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Golf Course Maintenance Crew is a strong safety driver, profit focused and people oriented by providing a clean, safe, well-maintained resort. Responsibilities A Great Blue Resorts Golf Course Maintenance Crew is responsible for participating in all maintenance, repair and upkeep operations of the Resorts grounds and maintaining the resort to a clean, safe, and well-maintained standard which enhances owner and guest enjoyment. The Golf Course Maintenance Crew responsibility will include but not limited to the following: Achieving Happiness of Owner, Guest & Staff through strategic people and property management Strive to deliver safe, clean, and well-maintained resorts to our daily, weekly and seasonal owners and guests meeting Golf Survey and Property Visit Survey Score expectations Maintaining golf course grounds including play and non play areas, Resort Grounds including owned, rented, and vacant lots, golf course and resort irrigation systems Works closely with the Property Grounds Lead to execute grounds maintenance plan. Co-ordinate with Golf and Property teams, if required, to meet and exceed owner and guest expectations 100% compliance with Health & Safety requirements All property grounds including golf course grounds and associated features as well as resort grounds and associated features Buildings including maintenance facility and irrigation pumphouse Grass cutting, trimming, golf course setup, tree management, construction project management Basic maintenance of equipment Skills/Requirements Excellent time management and communication skills Proven mechanical skills or experience with turf management, fertilizer applications, IPM principles, irrigation system maintenance and operation, and machinery operation considered large asset A firm understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Fire safety legislation Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and possible holidays Comfortable working outdoors in differing weather conditions Comfortable working independently What’s in it for you?
