SUMMARY Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop. PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE * Make field service calls to repair. * Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support. * Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain construction, aggregate and asphalt equipment on site and within the shop. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed. * 421A Certification. * Must have own tools. * Mobile field service experience is an asset. * Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required. * A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract. * Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components. * Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources. * Superb communication and interpersonal skill. * Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities. * Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges. WHAT WE OFFER * Expected Base Salary: $38.87 - $48.83 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations. Requirements
