We're looking for a Plant Accountant to join our Brampton Packaging Facility and play a key role in supporting operational excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement. This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll work closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership to help drive informed business decisions and ensure the financial health of a growing manufacturing operation. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home each week. Why Greenfield? Key responsibilities include: Managing inventory accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis Supporting product costing and manufacturing accounting activities Participating in month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations Partnering with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve inventory accuracy and operational performance Supporting physical inventory counts and investigating inventory variances Assisting with purchasing, accounts payable, and procurement-related activities Maintaining inventory and product master data within ERP systems Supporting internal controls, audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements Contributing to process improvements and systems enhancement projects, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives Providing analysis and insights that support operational and financial decision-making What You Bring You enjoy working where finance meets operations and thrive in an environment where you can make a measurable impact. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or operational finance Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience working with ERP systems Nice to Have CPA designation or progress toward certification Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting principles Total Rewards & Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset, and we're committed to supporting their success both inside and outside of work.
