In addition to oral procedures, the hygienist must maintain an aseptic work area, be organized and self motivated, and demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity to all patient concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence. Qualifications Diploma in Dental Hygiene Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and membership in good standing Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of dental hygiene Interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment, and with patients Standard First Aid - CPR C - AED certificate Knowledge or experience with PC software / dental software / radiograph imaging software Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated understanding of periodontal conditions and appropriate treatments A full job description is available upon request Greenstone Dental is an equal opportunity employer. The Dental Hygienist performs customary oral procedures and maintains an aseptic work environment. They must also demonstrate sensitivity to patient concerns to ensure comfort and confidence.

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and be a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO. Proficiency in dental software and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are also required.
