Job summary

Position: Shipping Office Administrator Position Summary The Shipping Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to the Shipping Office, with a primary focus on processing Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs). This role will be responsible for manually entering shipment information into the SPS system and ensuring information is entered accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities * Enter Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) information accurately and on time into the SPS system. * Review shipment information and supporting documentation to ensure all required ASN details are complete prior to submission. * Verify data entered into SPS for accuracy, including shipment, order, product and delivery information. * Work closely with the Shipping and Warehouse teams to obtain missing or updated shipment information. * Monitor ASN submissions and assist with correcting data entry errors or discrepancies. * Maintain accurate records of completed ASNs and related shipping documentation. * Organize and maintain electronic and paper records related to shipments and ASNs. * Provide general administrative and data entry support to the Shipping Office as required. * Perform other administrative duties related to shipping operations as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous administrative, data entry, shipping or warehouse office experience preferred. * Experience working with shipping documentation is an asset. * Experience using SPS, ERP, WMS or similar systems is an asset. * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
