Job Summary Coordinate and oversee daily farm operations to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards. Lead teams, manage equipment and resources, and maintain records to support efficient and safe agricultural activities. Number of Positions 3 Main Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of farm workers during planting, cultivation, harvesting, and livestock care. Assign tasks, monitor worker performance, provide on-the-job training, and manage seasonal staffing needs. Operate or oversee operation of tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment; schedule routine maintenance. Monitor crop development and animal health; implement pest control, feeding, breeding, and nutrient management practices. Maintain production records, inventory, input use logs, and prepare reports or forecasts for resource planning. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and quality standards; promote best practices. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in agriculture or equivalent practical experience preferred. Several years of hands-on farming experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities. Practical experience operating and performing basic maintenance on farm machinery and equipment. Knowledge of crop production, livestock care, pest management, and seasonal production practices as applicable. Physical ability to perform outdoor and manual tasks, including lifting, and to work in varying weather conditions. Basic numeracy, record-keeping and communication skills to prepare reports, manage inventory, and plan schedules.
