Role Description Configure, validate, and support ADMS/OMS capabilities for distribution control-room operations. Engineer and test functions such as distribution topology and power flow, Volt/VAR optimization, FLISR, and switch-order management. Validate integrations and data flows involving SCADA, GIS, CIS, AMI, DERMS, distribution automation, and related enterprise systems. Support network-model builds, telemetry mapping, device onboarding, data-quality checks, and environment readiness. Develop technical specifications, configuration records, test procedures, scripts, defect analyses, and implementation documentation. Support integration, performance, failover, regression, commissioning, UAT, cutover, rollback, and production readiness. Troubleshoot issues through hypercare; deliver demonstrations, training, knowledge transfer, and practical client guidance. Qualifications Experience with one or more major ADMS/OMS platforms; platform breadth is valued and no single vendor is mandatory. Programming or automation experience using Python, C/C++, SQL, scripting, APIs, messaging, or similar tools. Familiarity with GIS, CIM, AMI, ICCP, cybersecurity, high availability, or disaster recovery. Experience with operator training, utility consulting, international assignments, or client presentations. Recent hands-on experience implementing, deploying, or supporting ADMS, OMS, DMS, SCADA, or closely related utility OT systems. Working knowledge of electric distribution operations, control-room workflows, network models, telemetry, and operational data. Experience with ADMS functions such as topology processing, distribution power flow, VVO, FLISR, switching, or outage management. Experience supporting integration, testing, defect triage, deployment, and production stabilization. An engineering, computing, or related foundation gained through education or equivalent practical experience. Clear communication, disciplined documentation, collaborative problem solving, and willingness to travel as required.
